Dean Martin Sings "Rio Bravo" (1959)
Here's Dean Martin singing "Rio Bravo", the lovely ending theme of the 1959 Howard Hawks western of the same name. It was a great Technicolor film with a powerhouse cast: John Wayne as Chance, Dean as Dude/Borrachón, Ricky Nelson as Colorado, and Angie Dickinson as Feathers. Other noteworthy cast members included Walter Brennan, Ward Bond and Claude Akins. The basic premise of the film was adapted many times, including two other films by Hawks himself. "Rio Bravo" was chosen to be preserved in the National Film Registry in 2014.
I hope you enjoy listening to Dean's smooth singing style as he performs "Rio Bravo".
As always, I do not own the music or the images, and make no profit of any ki...
